W.E.E.E. Directive / Recycling Old Appliances

Should I recycle my old appliance?

W.E.E.E. - Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment
The WEEE symbol if present indicates that a product contains Electrical or Electronic components which must be collected and disposed of separately. Never dispose of Electrical or Electronic waste in general municipal waste. Electrical and Electronic equipment contains hazardous substances which, when disposed of incorrectly, may leak into the ground. This can contribute to soil and water pollution which is hazardous to human health and can endanger wildlife. Apollo 2000 will gladly take back in store any waste Electrical product within 3 weeks of purchase of a new product of the same or equivalent type, or if delivering a new product we will take the waste product away if required.
