Hughes TV & Audio Ltd trading as Apollo2000 are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Information from our users is collected at several different points on our website.

Order form

We request certain information on our order form. Contact information (such as name and delivery address) is used for invoicing purposes and to fulfil orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is necessary in order to get in touch with the user.

When you use your credit card, all your data is encrypted to the highest industry standard (SSL). We do not store credit card details on our servers; these are processed directly by the credit card processing company, Barclays Merchant Services, on their secure payment system (EPDQ). All of our customers information is protected & restricted within our offices. This means it is also protected from hackers and criminals.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode both help to protect your card against unauthorised use when you shop online. If you make a purchase in a shop, you enter a PIN number or sign a receipt to validate the transaction. Verified by Visa and SecureCode mimics this process over the internet by providing a digital receipt that you sign off with your own personal password.

How do I register?

Registering is simple – as you complete your online transaction you will be invited by your card provider to create a password. You can also sign up and find more information on the Visa and Mastercard websites.

Cookie

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the users hard drive containing information about the users, however this is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.

Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to any information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date with ongoing security and privacy practices. Every quarter, or in the event of a new policy being added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
